Export
How to create an assessor pack, what the progress card and history show, who can export, and how to send the link to your assessor.
The export screen builds the assessor pack: one ZIP file holding an index PDF, a CSV per section and every evidence file, filed by clause. For what is inside, see Assessor pack contents. For leaving AccreditBook with all your data, see Data export.
Who can export
Owners, admins and auditors. Members cannot. The auditor role exists so you can give an assessor or consultant read access and the ability to download the pack without sharing a password (see Settings).
Creating a pack
- Choose the scope: Everything, or Since a date, for example the date of your last assessment.
- Select Create assessor pack.
- A progress card shows the status: Queued, Running, Ready or Failed. You can leave the page; the export carries on, and you receive an email with the link when it is ready.
Only one export runs at a time for a lab. If one is running, wait for it to finish.
History
The history list shows each pack with its date, size, expiry and a download link. Download links last 14 days. After that the pack shows Expired; create a new one, which also picks up anything added since.
Sending the pack to your assessor
Email link to assessor sends the download link to an address you type in. The link is to the ZIP file only. It does not give access to AccreditBook, and it expires with the pack after 14 days.
Checking the pack
The index PDF cover carries the lab name, accreditation body, certificate number, the time the pack was generated and a pack identifier. The pack’s SHA-256 checksum is recorded with the pack, so you can show the file you sent is the file that was generated.
When an export fails
The card shows Failed with the reason, and the error is reported to us automatically. Try once more; if it fails again, write to us with the time and we will look at the specific pack.
Before an assessment
Create a pack a few weeks ahead and read the index. Anything shown as lapsed in red is what the assessor will see first. Fix those records, then create a fresh pack for the visit.
